    Xmas Saver!
Does anyone have this blue Alvar?

    http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_089010892645_-1

It seems a bargain at £26.18 (with the 15% code and collect in store) but I'm wondering how true the colour is to what it looks like on screen. Also, would people recommend the Alvar as a day to day bag?

This looks like the alvar s to me and I think it's in flash blue which is same as I ordered. If it is the alvar s then it is really small and I would say not really big enough for everyday. The colour is very much same as it looks on here I personally didn't like flash blue I prefer true blue but that's just me. HTH :)
have now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving

Have you had a look on the kipling uk site. They have the alvar duo in the sale which is a medium sized alvar and is inbetween the small and standard size alvar. http://www.kipling.com/uk-en/catalog/product/view/id/8784/s/duo-offer/category/3069/?show_img=K1225805700+999. Its down to 27 from 55 and the code monkey10 gets 10% off.

My Alvar arrived from Debenhans, disappointed as too big for me as aday to day bag. Now to return it and hope Debenhans have another sale soon as need to get my D vouchers used up.
Think the duo would be a good size for me :)

I've been lurking on this thread for a while, after buying an Alvar in line print about 6 weeks ago. Its a great bag for everyday work use and it holds loads. Love the 2 big main compartments and the separate pockets at the front are really handy, so I always know where my keys are! Like others have said this bag remains flat against your body even when you have loads in it, which is what I like

I got mine it from amazon when it was about £38, but used a voucher I'd been given so it only cost me about £13 :D. I'm hooked on them now.

Thanks for posting about the duo on the Kipling site bankgirl1. I've been looking at these for a while, but couldn't justify the £55.00. I've just ordered the pink combo one for our holiday. It was £23.38, cos I went through quidco, and they have a discount code for 15% off handbags too (code is on the quidco site, and expires in 3 days); 6% cashback and you get free delivery.

I didn't realise that the US site had different styles and colours and loved the flowery ones that were posted the other day. We are off to Florida in about a month, so I have just added another store to my shopping list (:rotfl:) to see what I can pick up, as they have an outlet store on International Drive.

Would really like an everyday purse, but am not sure what to go for, as it is hard to make a choice from photos. Hoping to have some fun in the outlet store and pick up some bargains.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Nice little Jiro on the Kipling site that comes down to £19 with the code CTQ9720 mentioned - cute pattern but small.

Yelina in Expresso Brown has come down a little - I know it was £11 not too long ago but then went up to £15. Now it's £13.57
