i have just filed 3 complaints of miss sold endownments to standard life , abby national and scottish ammicable . abby has been running since 1986 , standard life since 1995 , and amicable since 2002 . do i have a chance of compensation . i was told at the outset that it was the only type of mortage i would get because of my low income , , but at least at the end of term i could look forword to a lump sum .

You are very late in submitting these complaints and almost certain to be too late. Most providers were allowed to put a time limit (referred to as time barring) on complaints a few years back and you will have received letters about this (assuming you kept your address up to date with them).MFW 2015 #41 = £20,515/£20,515
MFW 2014 #41 = £26,100/£25,000
MFW 2013 #41 = £10,000/£10,000
Original MF date = May 2036 - MF achieved on 15 June 20150 -
all this was only brought to my attention . :mad:0

If you received "red alert" letters bringing to your attention the fact that the plans were not on target to repay your mortgage, that was the time to take action.
These triggered the timebar, giving you three years from the first notification, IIRC.I am a mortgage broker. Sorry.
Perhaps I should rephrase.
The first shortfall letter sent starts the clock ticking. If you get the first one today, you have until 26 November 2015.
If the first shortfall letter was issued in 2003, the timebar became effective in 2006.I am a mortgage broker.
