Yesterday I went to Lidl's and found a frozen goose for £19.99 (3.8-4kg) this seems a great bargain as at most supermarkets they are around £50 for the same size. I've had a little look since I got it and seen lots of good things about it on the internet.
They have lots of nice looking things for a Christmas dinner/New Years buffet at very good prices
(smoked salmon, prawn rings, turkeys, desserts)

The goose is nice, we've had it before. As are the duck spring rolls, and they do canapes, two different fillings in little baskets, they're nice. they've got the gingerbread houses that you make up yourself for £4.990
