Ordered a Xbox off zavvi last week after seeing a free delivery code on here every little helps But still not got it still not picked at wear house according to zavvi customer services and don't know when I will get it due to high volume of orders at the suppliers and couriers ! I ordered it in all good faith for a present and should of been delivered within 3 days. They should tell you at check out if there will be a delay to give you a option of cancelling can't say I'm impressed with them and slightly disappointed as they I only used them as they were on money saving expert :(

  • zavvi do tend to be slow at dispatching items for delivery, i ordered a game last week (the 22nd), still not got it, hopefully both our things arrive soon.

    Lets hope so ! My argument is if they know its not in stock then say at checkout ? Pretty poor if you ask me I won't be recommending them if it says you will get it in 3 days then you should get it !

    They didn't say that it was out of stock, just that there is a delay due to a high volume of customer orders, but not necessarily for the Xbox alone, just in general. If they are low on order pickers due to staff shortages then back ups can easily happen.

  • Never seem to have any issues with other sites but Zavvi seem very slow to dispatch items - begs the question why I placed an order with them today then just 'cause the item was a couple of quid cheaper than elsewhere + I had a 10% discount as well.

  • hi just cancelled an order for tintin game and dvd recomended on here and uk deals orderd it 2 weeks ago aid del within 3 days when i checked dispatch date 26th dec emailed but no answer so cancelled recieved an email accepting cancellation would not use again .:mad:
  • I think I'm off Zavvi forever now - that last order I referred to is definitely going to be my last; been having "payment problems" with the order but, funnily enough, it's not that big of a problem to stop them from having it taken out of my bank account!

    Been on and off the phone with them the past couple of days, being told it'll be cancelled and the money refunded - yet today I phone up having discovered it's on my bank statement now and have been told the same thing.

    Just had an email off of them as well which, amongst other rubbish, contains this gem of a line...

    "Please note, we haven't taken any payment for the item."

    No. I must have ordered something off of them for the exact same value of this order then...

    Absolutely rubbish customer service. They don't know what they're talking about half the time :mad:

  • seems like they're getting worse.

    i went ahead and actually made another order with them, at least a week after i made the first order, purely because the box set was 12 quid cheaper from zavvi. i got the box set 3 days ago, and only just received my first order today, how did they manage that one, the first order was only a game lol.
