I promised myself id be debt free by 30 (May 2013) and im just a few pay checks away from achieving that goal:) I remember going into debt when i got my first PT job after Uni 7 years ago..earning some credit getting into debt (you know the story).
Now im about to get a full pay check every 4 weeks to myself (£1200 after tax).
The issue im facing is that i dont know what to do now im going to be debt free. Id like your inspiration and ideas/dreams on what you'd do if your about to be debt free...

My aim is to be debt free by my eldest son's 18th birthday (october 2016) and as he announced today he wants to go to Oxford or Cambridge I can imagine where some of my money will be going!
The first thing I am going to do is SAVE for a new car (new to me, not brand new), and maybe for a nice holiday with the kids before the eldest flies the nest.
Do you drive? Driving lessons would be a good investment.
Good idea to save up a few months salary to safeguard against getting into debt again.LBM:1/1/12Debts @ LBM:£43,546  Debts now: £9,486  78% PAIDFound YNAB 1/2/14 - the best thing EVER!0 -
