    okay.. it might be slightly harder to get to Cleethorpes then :(

    There's buses. I've walked it before. It's not horrendous.

    i would be driving so if i dont have the kiddies would happily take 4 passengers to wherever. that way i wont get lost alone!!

    Not sure about York to Cleethorpes, but I went on a few school trips there when I was a child from Grimsby so it must be fairly accessible by rail. I think the Kings Cross to Edinburgh (or it might be Glasgow) route (and visa versa !!) goes through York via Grimsby so you would need to change there.

    I can fit 4 in my car or 5 if 3 are skinnies and can fit in the back and would be happy to give anyone a lift too. :)

    Also would prefer cleethorpes or grimsby to scarborough especially if I'm driving but to be honest if it was too far to drive I'd just get the train....

    OOooh cleethorpes by rail for me takes 3 hours 10 minutes!:eek:

    And just did a one-way (so i could get times etc up, and is coming up at £32.40:eek:
