I suggest you put the overtime into a separate account and use it to buy things that don't need to be everymonth spends - presents, clothes, entertainment etc. So you can see you are breaking even on lean months, and know what you are getting for the bonuses. But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Hi Lucy
MY other half makes a similar amount and we get over £500 per month in Childrens Tax Credit and £134 per month Child Benefit.
If you are not already claiming Children Tax Credit, you ought to asap. I would really help xxxx0 -
Hi again Lucy,
Just read your bit about camping next year. Not sure if you have done this before, but The Sun Newspaper does tokens that you have to collect for about a week for cheap camping / caravanning holidays.
We usually go away with this during Easter Break. Collect 10 tokens and then go away for a long weekend for £9.50 each. It is brilliant. The only downside is if you want to go away during the Summer Holidays, you have to basically accept anywhere you can get as it is REALLY popular.
Expect you know about this already, but thought I would say just in case.

Last year he got a lot of overtime and it put us over the amount I think then they stopped overtime for ages. They keep stopping and stating it so I think I need to see what we get on the next end of year thing to see inf we can get it. I think we do get £134 child benefit. I will call them and check xFamily of 5 vegan humans plus a non vegan cat.
