Debt free in 8 years

Hello.

After paying off my card debts I set.a plan in motion to pay off my £92000 mortgsge. I modified my spending to prevent unnecessary wastage then simply did the following.

On every payday I checked my balance, allowed for my monthly set payments plus 10%, then paid what was left off my mortgage. This aversged £500 to £1000 per month which was on top of my mortgzge payment.

This had the immediate effect of lowering the monthly payment by roughly £6 per thousand. Over 8 years it paid off the debt and made me better off by £706 a month.as the mortgage had been paid in full.

Hard to do, glad I did!!

Michael
