I study politics at university. I really like it and it's really challenging.
Before university my background was math and physics.
Hell, I even want to try my hand at DIY constructing a wind turbine, and if that goes well, see if I can start a business in that field
Now look, this just won't do. You can't be into politics and also the very grotty engineering stuff that politics is trying to destroy in our country. That simply won't do.
You must decide now which one you want and take that path because you can't do both - it's not allowed! Politicians have made it perfectly clear that they are anti engineering, industrial stuff and R&D in this country so you must sit down and think hard.. which one do you REALLY at the bottom of your heart want to do?0 -
Well according to several other posts made by simmed, this is just a con anyway. Apparently you're living in a student room barely able to survive yet you're also selling a house and will have £180k spare at least?
Rather odd.0 -

Rather odd.
I do also have to point out that he seems to be doing two degrees. One in Politics and one in Business Finance with MandarinI am soon entering my 2nd year of university, reading Business Finance with Mandarin Chinese (strange combination I know).
I've been interested in a military route - preferably the Navy.
Have I left it too late to embark on an official sponsorship->degree->job route?
At this point I am obviously dead-set on finishing my degree, but I'm looking at the wider picture beyond that. It would be wonderful to, in the meantime, get sponsorship, get experience, get more skills, and get a career waiting for me upon graduation. Even though I will hopefully have a good degree, I am certainly not above training in a trade such as plumbing, electricianship, logistics, etc.
Any advice much appreciated.
Exactly which one of these many personas are you Simmed?Wise man once say "When in hole, don't dig"0
