Good evening guys,
My word!
12 months have flown by so fast, its unbelievable.
Im getting discharged early next month (Dec 2012) and truth be known,i'm very nervous about the next step.
I remember logging on here for advice and to be honest,i have never felt at ease with the members here who were very kind and helpful throughout.Every question was answered and i cannot thank you guys enough.:T:T:T
The only thing that i applied for while still BR is an instant plus account with Santander which i opened 2 weeks after BR (was honest with them about my BR status).Had to because my previous bank had shown me the door!
Forgot to mention that i opened a Fashion world account while still BR with a £200 limit on it which has been increased twice and its now £400.Have cleared the balance every month (just the odd £20 here and £30 there).I have never purchased their clothes purely because i can't fit in any of them seeing as im very thin and tall.I can't wait to close it once my file is all clean in 2013 hopefully.Looks like i will keep buying extra long pairs of jeans and trousers from Next as usual.
Anyhoo, for those who are on the same boat as me or those who are even starting their journey, this is the best forum to go to for advice.
Guys-THANK YOU VERY MUCH for all your help.Hopefully one day,i will return the favour.
My first question about my "soon-to-be-discharged" status, what do i do next please?just to clean my credit files and maybe one day, start strengthening my credit.
I recently requested for both my statutory reports from Equifax and Experian and was lucky to view them instantly but im having problems with Call credit/Noddle.Viewing my files gave me some shocker!...I can't believe that i let my files get that bad
2013 will be my year to clean my file and be positive.
All the best guys..
:)

Wait a couple of months then start your credit file clean up, just follow the instructions in the sticky.
Good luck for the future:):):):pB&SC No. 298

Thank you very much Dojoman....:)0

Ask for a discharge letter. I found this came in handy when trying to clean up my credit file. Just an informal letter from your OR, you don't need the full discharge certificate.
