Halifax account using Bank Of Scotland branch

Looking for a little advice.
Completely fed up with Santander and have been talking about switching banks for ages now but the thought of moving everything has put me off so far.
Anyway, I am thinking of taking up the Halifax offer of £100 to switch to them but there is no branch in my town and I dont like the thought of not having a branch to pop into if I had a problem.
What I would like to know is, since there are 2 Bank of Scotland branches in my town, can I go there and do any Halifax banking since the 2 are joined? Could I go in and pay in / withdraw over the counter or even go in and see someone in branch if needed?
Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks

You can pay in and take out.
Not sure that you'll get much face to face support in branch though.0 -
opinions4u is correct.
Limited account support bar basic things like withdrawals & deposits, cancelling cards or printouts. BOS branches can see what's happening but can't always make changes like overdrafts etc.opinions4u wrote: »You can pay in and take out.

My wife and I live in the Shetland Islands. We have several Halifax accounts and do our banking online but have carried out several banking activities at the local Bank of Scotland branch here with no problems encountered whatsoever.
My name came out of the hat in a recent Halifax monthly prize draw (only £100 but still very welcome) and I was able to process payment of the prize at the BOS branch very easily.0 -
You'll be fine, processing the day to day transactions, and routine enquiries. There may be times in a BOS branch when you may have to use the telephone, but they should offer you a phone in the branch.0
