Oilseed Rape Wine-is there such a thing?

I've been doing a bit of research on behalf of my Mum. She's asked if wine can be made from either oilseed rape flowers or the seed. Does anyone know? I've looked at several websites and haven't come across anything yet. I'd be grateful for any recipes or ideas please.

are you sure that you are not speeking about oil instead of wine?
In fact it is possible to make oil from the seeds of grapes (those used for making wine.

Yes, definately wine. She's been busy collecting dandelions to make wine and as we are surrounded by rape, she wondered if wine could be made from this as well (seems a shame to miss out on it if it's possible to turn into wine!)

In theory you can make wine out of any plant, so long as you add enough sugar. I've had wine made from birch bark, mind you it was pretty nasty! So yes, it should be possible but it's a gamble whether it tastes nice.
