Doctor's surgery in East Belfast

Hi
I would like to move to a surgery closer to our home in Gilnahirk. I would be grateful if you could advise on your good and bad experiences with the local surgeries around that area. I think the closest ones to us would be those in Kings square, knock crossroads and Ballyhackamore. I just want a GOOD doctor!! without having to wait 10 days to see him (i.e. Holywood Arches where I am currently registered). I used to be with Dr Jennifer Bell who was the best but she retired. If you too are an ex-patient of hers , where did you go?

I live in East Belfast and on the recommendation of someone at work (I work in Holywood Arches!) attend Woodstock Medical Practice which is not near hand, but when I need to see a GP I see one with no more than a 2 day wait, and once when very ill was seen on the day.

I have a dd and when ill she was seen on the day I called.

I think it is down to the receptionists really - it shouldn't be but it is!

I have recently moved to Linen Court Surgery on the Beersbridge Road (near the traafic lights at the junction with Bloomfield Road). I am quite impressed so far. Have been able to get an appointment quickly and smae day when it was for my baby.

Another vote for Linen Court from me. Dr Burke is 1st class.

Many thanks to all of you. I will have a look at those surgeries however I am still hoping to hear comments about Cherryvalley and Knock surgery. Anybody out there who could help?
