Second Credit Search

This could be a very stupid question - but I have no idea!

The Woolwich carried out a Credit Search on myself and my Husband on 13 November for our mortgage application. It is down on Experian as a First Credit Search - does that mean that there will be a second search?

We have been trying to keep a certain amount of money in our accounts, but we need to start paying things out soon!

Thank you, Sarah

No. It means search for a first charge mortgage, not the first search in a series.

They may carry out another random search closer to completion if they decide to audit your application.
