One authority he worked for paid on the last working day of the month, one paid on the last Friday of the month and this one pays on the 23rd of the month or the following Monday, if the 23rd falls at a weekend.
Someone in the finance dept told him it was set up for the 23rd to avoid the extra expense of changing the pay run for early Christmas pay.LBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin

Ahhhh that makes sense as we're paid a week early at Christmas (which I hate - as we're then paid a week early in Jan which then makes Jan - Feb a long month too ..... 5 weeks this time:eek: - it's always March by the time I've managed to sort myself out)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

I'm a teacher, paid the last working day of the month... and before that on the 28th of the month, or the last working day before that if it was a weekend/holiday. I find it strange that some places pay later while others pay earlier...Ninja Saving Turtle0

Yes, that's right.
