Making contact with DCA's is the best thing I've ever done. Spent 4 years running away from them and worrying about it everyday, it feels so good not to have to worry about what letter I will recieve next, or if I will get a CCJ or not. Those of you who are running away from a debt you owe, take my advice and face up to it. You'll feel much better.

On another note, I cannot believe how many people on here that genuinely owe a debt but try to find ways out of not paying. Disgraceful.

Let us know how your are doing in a year or so, when they have all come back saying that your agreements have finished and your repayment proposals are no longer acceptable.

Well done so far - congratulations on that.

But do not underestimate the power of a CCA request to redress the balance when DCAs get greedy and bully for more money. IF you do not get this, you are a lucky person indeed.
