Christmas Party Ideas

Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone has any brilliant ideas for party games for 13-18 year olds? And whether anyone knows where I could get some decent, cheap prizes for games!

We always have a christmas party for our cadets which ends up just being a karaoke machine and some sausage rolls in our cadet center which is bit rubbish. I thought this year maybe we'd try and get something a bit more fun going :D _party_

  • Build a spagetti tower using spagetti and marshmellows!

Alot of work places do this for team building exercises. Its really good fun!

Split people into groups and see who can build the tallest tower in 5 minutes/10 minutes.

You then can either see which stands on its own for at least 19 seconds, or add some fun to it buy making them balance a balloon ontop too!!

We find the after eight challenge always goes down well with kids and adults - you place an after eight on your forehead and have to try and get it into your mouth by wiggling the muscles in your face - no hands allowed. You can do it individually or works as a relay too.

    have fun :D
  • Making prizes will be really cheap and cost effective.

I find peppermint creams are the best and you can make them several days in advance!

I can't post links but the recipe is really easy (just a splash of water, icing sugar, food coloring if you want.)

I put these in all of my Christmas hampers and the kids really love them. You can make them even more teenager friendly by half dipping them in melted chocolate when they are set and then just wrapping them up with some cheap cellophane.

Failing that, the local pound shops always have things (included joke gifts) that don't cost the world!

Love the sound of these without the egg white. Just wondered how long in advance you can make them and do they need to be kept in the fridge.

    Thanks
