Hi All,

I've been toying with the idea of buying a 42" LCD for a while now. My DVD Player went bust and so I now need one of those too.
I've been following the threads in the forum about TV's and bargains alike, but can never decide.

I've found this bundle which is a named brand and seems good money for what you get. My mate says the spec is pretty good and that it is cheap for what you get.

Can anyone please tell me if it is a good tv, a good spec, worth the money, a good company to buy from etc.. ect..

I'm literally on the edge of hitting the "buy it now" button:rolleyes:

lol, sorry about that, I'd forget my head if it wasn't screwed on!

Here is what I was on about:http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/487663/art/philips/42pf5331-plasma-screen-ht.html?itag=9698
  • Hi

We spent ages looking at t.v's around Christmas time, from our research and people that we spoke with in shops the general opinion of Phillips seemed to be they were ok unless something went wrong with them and then they were a nightmare to get mended under warranty. We ended up buying Sony which had been a managers special in Comet, we are very pleased with it. Have you looked at Toshiba, they seemed very good and seemed to get the best reviews of the slightly cheaper models,we have decided on a Toshiba model until until we saw our one on offer.

    Thanks,

I can't find any cheap enough though really. I've looked around loads of shops and haven't found many cheap but good 42" TV's.

If anyone knows of any, please tell me

    I can't seem to find anything:mad:

It's realy doing my head in. I've looked over loads of previous posts, but all those deals seem to be gone.

I only have about 700 quid to buy the TV.

Pixmania seems to be the only place that fits my budget.

Has anyone used Pixmania b4? are they any good?
