SE K750i won't read Memory stick

Bought a 2 gig Sony MemoryStick PRO Duo for my K750i but the phone won't recognise it.
My computer sees it when used in a card reader.
When I formatted it in the phone it set up all the folders ok.
Its from Ebuyer so I assume its genuine.
My phone has worked fine with a 1 gig memory for a couple of years.
Any suggestions?

Looks like a faulty card as others have had similar problems, have a look at this thread on another forum HERE

The obligatory patronising post - have you tried turning the phone off and on again?

My k800i just won't play with the memory card at all until you cycle the phone...
