No driving license not changed (he is a man....), no evidence of living where he does as suspect landlord wants to keep it casual for tax purposes .........definitely separated. Been racking my brains but it appears you CAN live elsewhere for 8 years without leaving a trail.......(although split across two addresses where rented informally and paid cash). Any further thoughts will be much appreciated.....
So? Don't you realise how offensive you sound?0 -
If i was the new gf, i'd be a bit miffed he still had ties to his ex. When i left my ex i couldnt change my details quick enough! Maybe im just like it, but i move forward, not back. If they had moved house together, would he have left his previous address on everything? Because it was "easier" or cos he was "a man"? Think some legal advice is needed here, big time. Hope its sorted though xThe feeling i got when i confirmed my place studying criminology at Exeter Uni was brilliant!!!!!
The pride my children told me they had in me was even better!!!!! # setting positive example to children is OUTSTANDING!!!! !:grouphug::grouphug::smileyhea:smileyhea:smileyhea:smileyhea:smileyhea:smileyhea:smileyhea0 -

Maintenance was mentioned earlier - he pays cash informally.0 -

He didn't buy any furniture, bedding, linen etc - he's a man who likes the simple route...

As I see it the landlord is in the clear, he didn't have a tenant at all! This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0

It seems that it is going to be very difficult to prove.
However, my only suggestion is to look at this the other way round i.e. the partner has to prove that she was not living with him.
Whether this is possible I don't know.
She would need to show that she paid half the mortgage, all the utility bills, phone bills, council tax etc etc - hopefully all from her own account. He would have to show that he only paid his half of the mortgage from his own (hopefully) separate account and nothing else.
If she has informed any 'authorities' that her partner left then a written statement from the 'authorities' would add weight.
I am not sure whether this will be enough.0 -

almost two years). We have been on holiday together twice. He is not sure about the passport but I would guess it would have gone to wifey's address....and yes, we can both see exactly why you all think it's a wind up, we are seeing it as more and more unbelievable ourselves as your questions are making us consider the aspects. He is not a 'paper work' fan and thought it easier to leave as is as when address changed on one thing would need changing on another....
Are you sure he is being entirely truthful with you?
All this "He's a man" stuff just sounds rather odd.0 -
