Did he not have any post in the 8 years he lived there? not even a phonebill to show him calling his wife to arrange collection of his mail?
Most Men would have changed their details after 8 years unless the landlord he paid cash to was his Wife?
Did his wife take him off the electoral register when he left?
Why did she allow all his post going to her home for 8 years?0 -

Had he had a girlfriend during this time? I bet not... Sorry but struggle to believe any one separated for 8 years still have such links. Him paying the mortgage even though kids are now adults, mail still going there? Why? surely it is easier to get it at his door?0

TV licence not required as landlord says 'all bills in with rent'.....works pay statement goes to wife's address as didn't change when he moved out. All his post went to her address (his previous address) as he collected it when he visited to see his children, didn't ring to arrange this so not able to use phone bills to back this up.
Baza...you might have a point about the electoral register, wifey may have removed him from it at some point, thanks. Any more suggestions though as thin ice and skating......0 -
Yes did have a girlfriend but didn't live with her.....no post box at his current address as he suspects it is a holiday let in terms of council tax so it is a holiday cottage without a letter box.0
