Within DWPguidance on UJM jobseekers direction it clearly states that a direction cannot be imposed requiring a jobseeker to allow JCP staff access to their UJM a/c
link please. I got an A hole of an advisor, anything that will put the A hole in its place

Just ask for it in writing on DWP paper as it should be universal for all jc's not just one or two.

    How I see it.

NEW jobseekers will have the direction to register on their Jobseekers agreement.

The assistant adviser who usually signs you does NOT have the authority to give 'Directions' or change your jobseekers agreement, an adviser must do this.

WHEN you get a direction or new agreement you must register on the site but there is now way they can direct you to give them access to the account (Data Protection Act).

They have recently changed the minimum length of a sanction from 1 week to 4 weeks money so be careful what you do and don't do.

Cant see this at all, I posted in the other thread regarding this
  • I was told today that it is not compulsary to sign up to this. Just yet. But I will have to in the future. I specifically asked if i would get a sanction because I am not signing up to it at the moment and I was told no i wouldnt be sanctioned.

Do not sign up to this unless you have a letter stating that if you do not then you will be sanctioned.
