Cheapest place on high street to buy an Ipod?

From what I've seen, the 4gb Ipod nano that I'm buying on Friday is the same price (£129) at the places I've been to - Argos and Currys. Does anyone know if it's cheaper anywhere else?

Many thanks

Do you have to buy from the high street? If you go to apples store HERE you can get a refurb for £85 delivered, and apparently they are cracking condition.like new, and come with usual 12 mth warranty

Advertised on the Tesco direct website £128.97 with 500 bonus clubcard points. Also there is a code on another thread for £5 discount, and if you have it delivered to a local tesco store you don't have to pay p&p.

Bought my son one for Christmas from Boots.com and with the extra points that they were giving then and free delivery, plus I went through Rpoints, it worked out at under £100 for a nano 4Gb. Might be worth looking to see if they have any offers on now.

Also worth checking to see if there are any voucher codes around on the various sites.

  • There's nothing wrong with the iPod refurbs, you get a years warentee on them as well - although I would advise taking out Apple Care in case there are any accidents. I'm on my fifth iPod now, partly because I'm a !!!!!! and have a habit of breaking them - but it is all OK because the AppleCare looked after me. So, I've only paid for one.

Here's a tip though, when you buy your iPod - go and download a free piece of software called The Filter from http://www.thefilter.com this software makes it easy to fill your iPod. There's a video showing you how on their site here: http://www.thefilter.com/Captivate/How%20to%20use%20The%20Filter.htm
