Please could you let me know if I can reclaim bank charges for a deceased parent?
In 2007 I started to help my mother to reclaim her bank chargers. Unfortunately she passed away in 2008. Hence, I was wondering if I could make a claim on behalf of her estate and how I could proceed.
Your help and advice would be very much appreciated.

The executor of the estate has the legal right to complain on her behalf. However, what basis of complaint would you use? You cant use unfair/unjustified any more as the banks won that court case. Sadly, you cant use financial hardship either due to her not being here any more.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). It would also be hoped that the executor of the estate had sorted all the matters out within 12 months of the death as otherwise they may be liable for interest.
