Tesco Clubcard Points?

Didnt really know where to put this so plus move to wherever

Just a quick question really:

I am a member of tesco's dvd rental club and would like to know if you gain any clubcard points each month from this? I have emailed the tesco costomer services and i got a reply that wasnt really very helpful and didnt clear anything up. I am just thinking because if i dont gain any clubcard points from this i may aswell move to lovefilm as someone on here said that they emailed about the prices and love film offered to match tesco's prices so this would be better as lovefilm has a bigger selection of films (10,000 more titles i think:j )

Thanks

They shouldn't have any difficulties matching the prices - but similarly there shouldn't be any difference in DVD's as Tesco DVD is Lovefilm!

    http://www.tescodvdrental.com/info/privacypolicy.html

check out the first couple of lines of the Privacy Policy. As such you wouldn't be eligible for any Lovefilm opening offers as you are already seen as a lovefilm customer.

should add I've also had a couple of accounts with Lovefilm. First was Sainsburys DVD Rental (also lovefilm) - from what I remember at that time the DVD's had a Lovefilm sticker barcode on them and just came in Sainsburys branded envelopes (which showed they all came from the same stock)

I always knew that tesco dvd rental was powered by lovefilm but thought as the price was more expensive on lovefilm that they had more titles to choose from. I also thought this because on the tesco dvd rental site it says over 55,000 titles to choose from and on the lovefilm site it says 65,000 titles to choose from(including games & downloads) so this confused me. I think they are probably the same so there is no point in moving but can anybody answer my inital question about tesco clubcard points?

Don't think you get any extra points unless you pay with a Tesco Mastercard (incidentally a great way to boost your points).
