Work not paid me £300 of my £400 wages?!

Sounds like they haven't actually logged the rest of your hours against your employee account so they haven't paid them.
If it was a deduction it should look like this:
(no of hours) X (rate) XXX
less deduction -YYY
Gross pay ZZZ (total of two above)
And then would go on to do tax etc.0 -
Could you maybe have only worked 7 hours up to the pay cut off date? This would mean that the rest of the money would be due to you in next months wages?
I see that this is your 2nd job and you only do a few hours in it and I remember reading about you getting this job and it doesnt seem that long ago....
My pay cut off date is 2 weeks before I actually get my pay so any overtime etc I do after the cut off date is carried over to my next months wages.
Could this be what has happened?The loopy one has gone :j0
