Christmas Fayre ideas

Does anyone have any ideas for a stall please- either a game or something to make and sell. Children involved will be aged up to 8. We are very short of time!!!!

  • Paper plate angels - google for images if you don't know what these are. You sort of draw a circle in the centre of the plate for the head and two straight lines at angles, going from the circle to the right and the left. Then you cut out the top bit (looks a bit triangular shaped), curl the plate up and stick/tape/staple the cut edges to make the body and stick on the cut off piece to make the wings.

    Knit some mini Christmas stockings to sell? Mum2one has a great pattern here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=57134751&postcount=100 They knit up pretty quickly and use hardly any wool.

    Set up a reindeer food making station.
    you could put oats in a clean cat litter tray with a scoop, glitter, tag and ribbon then seal with the poem. I did make a poem up about why certain bits went where. I'll have a think.....
  • Have six sheets of A4 numbered 1-6
    Throw a dice and you get whatever is on the sheet of paper.
    Sweeties, pens, pencilss etc.................

    Have a timer and they can have as many coins as they can put on a plate in 30seconds

    Buy a Xmas teddy and do name the teddy. Charge to name teddy.one who gets it right wins. Decorate biscuits buy plain biscuits and tubes of icing and sprinklers and make them Christmas biscuits. Charge to do.
