How to give a mug as a present

I am thinking of buying 3 Cath Kidson mugs for 3 ladies that I buy for every year. Has anyone any ideas on how I can make these up individual to look more than a 'mug'. You don't get gift boxes with them too so has anyone ever given just a mug but made the warapping lovely.
Thank you.

  • You could put a sachet of nice hot chocolate and some marshmallows and choc buttons in individual little bags or a nice coffee sachet and some nice biscuits and wrap in cellophane with a nice bow and curling ribbon.

Can you get Kath Kidson gift bags or bags that co-ordinate. I would do as lulubell suggests and pop them into a gift bag.

I looked up gift bags, they are about £3.50 so will probably do what lulubell suggested.

    thank you,
  • If you can't get hold of the cellophane, I've done this before with cheap tea towels. Of course, you can't see the contents but the tea towel will be useful - tie a bow around the top and it still looks reasonably pretty.

I haven't seen any mini whisks, but Dunelm Mill have mini graters for 69p, ideal for grating chocolate over the top.
