  • I bought mine at Dunhelm Mill. They are lovely lined baskets and I've made Pamper Hampers. They were $4.99. I'll try and share a photo later.
  • I've always been able to find hamper style baskets in my local charity shop, alternatively Amazon seem to do a range of sizes starting from £11.

I bought and set of 3 for £10 in Wilkinsons last week.
  • I got most of mine from Store 21: two large tote bags at £2.99 each, wicker baskets from £2.99, a plastic bucket was another find at 99p from ...the 99p shop!

Another wicker basket was just 10p from a car boot sale and it's the biggest of the lot :)

For my sons movie hamper I decorated a large cardboard box int he style of a popcorn holder.....cost me pence to make as I already had card etc in

Kids baking hampers ....used a plastic mixing bowl from the basics range at ASDA
    Stopped smoking 20th October 2012 :D

This year I will have something that resembles a garden and not a building site!

I get mine from a local florist wholesalers worth checking on google if theres one near you that is also open to the public (I say florist but they only sell basket and typical florist accessories but no actual flowers lol) The biggest ones are about 33 or £4 depending on style and I did pick up decent ones last year for £2 :)

I have seen them on the finished hamper thread. They look lovely!
  • I previously bought mine in shops like Your More Store (when it was still open) and have used various types of basket depending on the theme - I even made a 'pink' basket for a teenager and put it all into a wicker waste bin for her bedroom!
Have bought in Ikea, Argos, and many other places. Movie themes can go in popcorn style buckets, summer bbq themes in small metal bbq's like the ones Tesco had last year, gardening themes in a planter basket etc etc.
Have a look through the hamper pictures thread for different ideas for the types of containers that would suit yours.

Home Bargains normally have some. I picked up one there this year for £2.99 or they had some deeper ones that were about £5 I think. Last year I picked up a set of 3 from Argos for £10.

i hadn't thought of Wilkinsons... what a great idea!

I've tried everywhere, from eBay, to carboots, to charity shops and have really struggled to find some. I've settled on wicker baskets from eBay, stole one back from my mum that I gave her last year, and some hessian bags from the local farm shop.

I'll have to remember Wilkos for next year!
