Hi all. Having completed CELTA a few months ago, I am very pleased to have been offered a job in the local Turkish Community Centre teaching English.
I will be the only teacher and will teach probably 2 hrs per week, or 4 if I have enough students for 2 classes.
I have been told that the majority of the students who will be attending did Entry level 1 last year so I need to gear my teaching to Level 2.
Has anyone done similar and could recommend a decent textbook that I can buy to work from please? Also, they have asked if my course will run over 24/ 30/ 36 weeks. I honestly have no idea what I should aim for, so if anyone has any pointers that can help me, I would really, really appreciate it.
