So looks like this mortgage wont go through now based on not being bleto get 3 motnhs wage slips !

So just wondered if any one had any ideas on our next steps

i was thinking about either of the following.

1. 95% mortgage in Joint Names as my defaults have been "satisfied" now, but where do we get the 5% deposit from if we still want this house we have had our offer accepted on ( a loan maybe )

2. 105% some where in joint names - will any one look at me on mortgage as i can provide last three months wage slips etc

These are really questions for your broker but you need to think a bit more about the process and how to structure this properly Have you thought of a gifted deposit or other form of creative finance

  • Well when i call them they are always busy !!

The state agents are asking when we are getting the house surveyed now so i think we will haveto pull out untill this is sorted as i dontwant to mess people around

I will possibly look for new advisor now

Also could also look for a small deposit of £2k or something, think its time to get mortgage in place first then hunt for the ideal property x

You need 5% really but why not go for a new build with a builders deposit or learn how to structure a vendors deposit or even perhaps a cashback
