Can anyone recommend a decent hotel with pool/spa treatments? I like the Apex but its a bit too dear £150, the holyrood house (Edinburgh) is the right price £100 for dinner bed breakfast and treatment but it gets bad reviews and the photos on trip advisor look awful! We have cars and can travel! Any ideas greatly appreciated, preferably scotland though

Stobo Castle is probably the best known but not very cheap!

Have a look at buyagift, lots of choice and then you can get a cheaper hotel nearby.

Really? I like The Apex too and never had to paid more than £80 a night for two including breakfast. There is usually deals on their website.
http://www.apexhotels.co.uk/en/offers/edinburgh-weekend-rooms/ is a good deal just now.
Try the Westerwood near Cumbernauld http://www.qhotels.co.uk/hotels/the-westerwood-near-glasgow/offers.aspx
If you had the money Blythswood Square in Glasgow is lovely http://www.townhousecompany.com/special_offers/offers/glasgowoffers/spaoffers/hen_parties.aspxWins in 2015

Check out One Spa at the Sheraton Hotel Edinburgh. £70 for a 3 hour trip to the thermal suite. You get what you pay for though, fabulous and worth every penny!0

I was really disappointed in Stobo Castle. too busy, not very clean and the therapists were very young and inexperienced.
Westerwood is good and you should get a good deal. Crutherland in East Kilbride, Airth Hotel near Falkirk and the Stirling Highland might be worth a try?
(I've also heard Blythswood is fab but it is expensive)
Just checked Matt's link for Crieff Hydro. I thought about that but always think of it as a family place (superb for families). However, that looks a cracking deal and they do have an adults only pool. Also, their therapists are excellent.0
