Shared Ownership mortgage options

  • I will have to check her tax credits this evening - I am currently in work and can't remember everything she receives.

The monthly cost of childcare is £700, in March we will get 15 hours free which should almost halve that amount. However as mentioned, I am happy to cover these fees myself if it means she is more attractive to a lender.

The rent is £201 per month and there is a service charge of £30 per month.

The housing association have been great so far, I will need to let them know if we want to go for a sole purchase, however at the moment they have agreed we can rent the property from them until the mortgage gets sorted and completes. This means we have a bit of time to sort it all out, but not an infinite amount of course.
