The start of the rest of my life

Spag bol is in the slow cooker and I have a pumpkin in the pantry so just making a soup as we speak.
I'm really excited for the end of this week got such a homey christmas weekend planned. I splurged on the TV Times and have highlighted films to watch each day. Me and the kids are making paper streamers to put all over the living room and I managed to make popcorn in the pan without burning it so we'll be doing some more of that.
The only wish I have is that me and oh could afford to buy a little something for each other. I might see if I can forage anything from the cupboards to sell.
I went to see my family this weekend who I often avoid. The fact is no one in our lives knows about our debt or our credit files. It's a horrible secret that just lives inside our house and I do know we should come clean but I just can't do it. It was really nice seeing them though and they really appreciate how little money we have at this time of year. (one income for two years plus two kids and a big house, they don't question our lack of money.)Total debt £6242

Also my daughters birthday was amazing, she loved the presents I'd gotten in the sale, she wore the party dress I got her last christmas and we went to the cinema for the first time ever all four of us. We bought popcorn and drink and sweets to share and the film was incredible. Absolutley a fond memory made yesterday.Total debt £6242
