Received today from Co-op Customer Relations "I sincerely apologise that you have experiences problems with the Shop, Scan and Save. All Co-operative store should definitely be accepting these and we do take all complaints and observations very seriously indeed. I can confirm that your comments have been passed to the local Operations Manager who will investigate the matter fully and take appropriate action."

I suggest if you don't get served by your local Co-op then email customer services with details of the store. Then print out the email response and show staff in store. Co-op website is https://www.co-operative.coop/contactus/

I went to the co-op near work yesterday at lunch time - took me 30 minutes!

the staff was really rude and said ' I don't know what you want', I wasn't going to give up and she called the store manager and she kindly helped me out. I had to tell her what to do as she never heard of the offer.

Had to pay 15p but hey, that's better than £4.15! Also got a free pack of kit-kat as well. I was very happy.

I had tried One Stop and Premier and none had the Fairy powder. Then went to Coop and the manager didn't want to accept it saying that Coop doesn't get involved with any promotion or vouchers that is not their own. I did show her the App, she did not want to look at that. I give up,

My CoOp, the staff never know what to do with vouchers and always call the Manager, who comes over and says "of course we do, this is what you do to accept it, and shows them". I don't shop there much as it is quite far, but I think I will need to start going more often so the staff get used to me using vouchers and how to process them!

Success at last. Co-op sales assistant didnt know how to process the Shop Scan Save £4 voucher but her supervisor did - couple of scans via the Paypoint terminal and I had just the extra 15p to pay on top to get the Fairy Non Bio.
  • My Co Op was very good...didn't take them long to figure it out and got my free Kit Kat too so am happy :D
