Credit file cleanup ...to get (another) mortgage

Hi all :)
I went bankrupt 20 aug 2009, and was discharged 20 aug 2010.
I already have 1 mortgage (that I had before bankruptcy). I'm hoping to get another one soon, and I've been reading some threads that say that all previous creditors in your credit file should say settled by now- and the settled date being date of discharge. on my equifax credit report some say settled, some don't.

The ones that don't are-
Credit card from CL finance- shows defaulted sept 2009 (in red)
Current account from HSBC- shows defaulted sept 2009 ( in red)
Communications supplier from Vodafone ex cpw- shows defaulted sept 2009
What's the best way to contact them and what should I show them? A copy of my bankruptcy letter confirming discharge? How about the companies that show a settlement date later than my discharge date should I contact them to get it changed to 2010 or would that make no difference to my credit score now?
Thanks in advance for any replies

Hi Crazycatzlady, You will find companies report to one of the CRAs rather than all three, that's why it's suggested that you get your credit files from all three of the CRAs to see what's held on there. A copy of your bankruptcy letter confirming discharge should be fine to send them.

Your accounts remain marked as defaulted. Make sure -:

    - The default date is on or before your BR date.
    - The current balance is marked as settled/satisfied in some way.

They are £2 each for paper/online copies.

NB: You can't order a paper copy online, they would rather you pay £12 don’t do that just print off the application form, P.O. for £2 and post this recorded delivery.
