Taking over a joint mortgage...is there an easy way ??

    What's the push to remove her name or to see a solicitor? In my opinion that would just aggravate the situation.

  • Because I want to move on and restore some stability/sanity in my busy life. No more surprises.

    I don't expect any sympathy because I know that if I was the one that had walked out and did what she did, everybody on here would be advising her now to take what she can get.

    Anyway, I digress. I just wanted to know what options, if any, were available. I don't expect it to be cheap/easy but at least I'd be free to move on.
