Hi
I am looking for advice. I am working at motorway service for a few years. Most people there full flexi and some on fixed rota due to other jobs or have kids etc. I been working on fixed shift for 4 years and now they changing opening hours and want to change my working hours? Do I have any rights or can they change them without inform me. I am just find out I have to work 11 to 7 after tomorrow. Any advice? The contract state : Hours of work are those fixed by the management where you employed. ......minimum of 39 with variations according to shift roster arrangements, or additional hours by agreement.
Thank you

Unfortunately, they can change your hours with very little notice. If you take objection to this then it may help to talk to them about it. However, whether they grant you the hours is their disgretion. Unfortunately, it sounds like a like it or lump it situation.0
