Food at Craft Fairs??

I am doing a couple of craft fairs in the next few weeks and am wondering about the rules/laws of selling cakes and biscuits?

I think you have to apply to your local council so they can inspect your kitchen and you should also have a food hygiene certificate. I remember someone else mentioned that you should also have insurance but I'm not sure which type. I'm sure someone will come along who knows for sure.
