Completion Date Time Scale?

About to exchange, vendor has told me, I can have any date within the next 2months, as the property is empty.

I was told, 4 weeks is the max you can have it at, is this right?

once you have exchanged a mutually agreed date can be agreed, you dont have a timelimit although most people want to complete as soon as they can after exchange.

Someone who knows better than me will be able to tell you the best day of the month to move in based on interest on your mortgage.
