Mortgage Brokers

What a good job mortgage brokers do. Just bought a house and used a morgage broker who was absolutely brilliant. He done absolutely everything for me, found the best mortgage for me, filled out paper work, kept me informed of my mortgage application everyday and took most of the stress away you get from buying a house. Just to say anyone who thinking of applying for a mortgage, my advice would be use a mortgage broker.:money:

    What a positive feedback!!

It's good to hear the positives for a change rather than all the negatives.

Keep his/her details for life and don't lose them.

Glad you had such a good experience and are telling others about the valuable service brokers offer. As Joe says, if you get a goodun, keep them for life - was it someone you found on this site?

Yeah it was. I have bought a house before but never used a mortgage broker. It was really stressful without using a mortgage broker the first time around however this time what a difference it made. I am going to keep his details and am going to use him again. Done it all over the phone and it didnt take long at all, even though everything had to be posted down to him.
  • Hey, I will second that!

Hubby and I used a broker last year for our house move. He was fantastic. Not only did he take care of the mortgage side of things, he was with us every step of the way and I could always call on him if there was something I was not sure about. He kept me sane!

I am based in Wareham, Dorset and if anyone is looking for a honest and sincere guy let me know and I will happily provide his details.

Yeah, the mortgage broker kept me sane as well, he was so helpful. Im at the other end of the country, Morayshire in Scotland. As I said in my last post, found him on this website, done everything over the phone and he was excellent.

Great to get good feedback. We end up as counsellors as well as brokers rather a lot, and by the time we are done our clients feel more like friends!

Good luck in your new home

That is exactly what my mortgage broker became was a councillor. I can laugh now, I would phone him up and tell him how stressed out I was and by the end of the phone call I was cheered up again. :rotfl:

Its a very stressful job - sometimes I feel like a sponge to my clients stress, I bought my first anti ageing cream last week. You have to be a natural with people in this job, and 99% positive all the time, or you woudl go mad.

Big pat on the back for your broker though, hope you have sent him a thankyou card - many of us collect silly things like that. It sounds really sad but when I get one I buzz off it all day! (I'm easily pleased obviously)

Well you know the best way you can say thankyou to a broker is to recommend them to family and friends. Its a competitive line of work and referrals are the best way to obtain business.

Good luck in your new home.
