Sole Trader & Full Time Education...

I have been offered redundancy. And as I am going back to uni full time in September this has worked out quite well for me. However, there are a few months before I start uni and I am looking at working as a sole trader until I start.

Can anyone advise me on continuing to be a sole trader once I have started uni? Does this effect the tax I pay or funding I will receive etc? Do I have to inform the tax office that I am in full time education? Or do I have to inform the uni that I am a sole trader? Even if anyone could point me in the right direction of an adviser!

i think you'd affected by the salray/profit you earn from the sole trader job to your student loan/funds but other than that, if you can keep up with your study, i think you'll be fine. out of curious, which uni are you going? i'm going this sep to imperial.:)
