We've just dug out a recipe for Christmas pudding and DH noticed that it doesn't contain any suet. Is it really a 'proper' Christmas Pudding without suet??

Not in my book - I do use vegetarian suet because many of the friends I give puds to as presents are veggies but I wouldn't use a no suet recipe.
The one I find most successful is Delia's.0 -
Thanks. That's just what we thought. We'll be checking out Delia's recipe this evening I think.0
