I ordered 3 of the £6 bottles of champers from sada - which I was hoping was going to bump up the shop so I got the £5 off a £40 spend but when the delivery driver came, he handed me my shopping specifically saying "it's all there" so I didn't pay attention to the delivery note until after he'd gone. It said that the champers "wasn't available at the time of picking" which is fair enough but I'd also ticked to allow substitutes so I phoned CS.

They got in contact with the store and the store manager says there wasn't a comparible product they could give me. When CS rang me back and told me their reason, I asked if that meant Sada had no other champagne in their shop - to which she said no, it's because the next cheapest one was £10 so they couldn't give me it.

All this time they've been doing their 3 for £10 deal on the chocolates must have meant they were losing thousands as they were effectively losing £11 every 3 boxes (that's without the glitch!) and yet they weren't willing to lose £12 for the next 3 bottles of cheapest champagne :mad:

And I lost out on my £5 off £40 because I wasn't charged for the champers. I think the delivery driver deliberately didn't tell me anything was missing either so I wouldn't nip his head about it :rotfl:

Just looking at my APG for the champers and curiously it's showing:

3 x Dubois-Caron Champagne Brut NV (750ml) £72.66 and N/A all the other supermarkets but on MSM it's showing Tosco @ £20 a bottle. Sada is still showing £6 on their .com site but it's not showing in stock at my Tosco website.

Am I right in thinking that if it's in other people's Tosco that they could get a price promise for it?

Still, it must mean that the £6 stuff was a glitch.
