Let me share a little story with you. Bear in mind I am not a religious person. Old man (not a single relative) too poorly to be on the streets gets taken into a salvation army home in NI recently to be cared for. The St Vincent de Paul (roots catholic) sort him out with clothes etc.

The old boy then passed away and the salvation army (roots would be methodist) sorted out the funeral expenses to be held in a catholic church but buried in a plot provided and paid for by sally army.

This is the kind of work going on behind the scenes guys- please give generously this xmas to help these folks cope. Great cross community going on.

I've great respect for the Sally Army (but not a member myself, as everybody knows from the other threads).

There's more uniting the churches than there should ever be dividing them. I always reckon you can measure a church's worth by the good it does, and it comes off particularly well.

You could do a lot worse than give to these guys. :)

No, I haven't tried it, just spotted Deedee's post and it's made me hopeful as I thought she meant the Ferrero xmas tree was a trigger now, it is possible that it is, it's showing as still being 3 for £10 for me but not showing as part of the offer for me on MSM.

I would try it but hubby has said we can't go there for a while unless there is a trigger at Norwich as it's 3-4 miles away and we had three trips without finding anything!:(

Unfortunately I don't drive, if Asda was within walking distance for me I would be having a look everyday, lol!:rotfl:

Wonder if anyone can help please!?:D

I'm after a Kindle Fire as a pressie any one know any good deals going on please!;)

    Tia

Don't know if it's still available, got one from John Lewis Website, but could only order by phone and collect from store for £99 with a 2 year guarantee. Ordered last Saturday, ready to collect on Sunday. Think they were the same price from Amazon last weekend.

Only comes with USB charger and that takes 11 hours to charge, so really need to purchase a plug charger as well. Ordered mine from Ebay as much cheaper.

Still working out everything it does, but can get internet, email, bbc iplayer as well as the expected apps. Not sure its as good for reading on though as not e-ink.

Back from dinner and was having a nice chill before bed but spotted the post above and made me

Anon I like u, I really do, think u are great but please pleaseeeeee don't tell ANY staff of glitches, no matter how nice they are, they do talk to each other and if a jobsworth reports it, it may get picked up quicker and end it for all of us sooner.

Granted this will be over in a day or 2 anyway, but best not to tell staff and risk ruining it for all of us. I ask u to kindly please keep any glitch info away from staff, Just a request.

    thanks
    why will it be over
