Right bacl from T to report on wine

    I got 4 bottles x 7.99
    3 bottles x 6.99
    1 bottle at 8.99

    equals £61.92
    So discount should have been

    11.23 (25% discount - on cheapest wines)
    and
    12.92 (2 for £12.00 discount )

    equals 37.77

    Minus
    20 clubcard double up
    minus
    £12.00 finest vouchers
    equals £5.77 to pay.

However they rang in one more at £6.99 than I bought and the discounts show as (2 for 12.00 ) £8.96 and 25% discount £17.23.

So I went to cs and she refunded 2 x 7.99 for some reason dtd so gave me back £15.98.

I am totally confused and then came back to my local store and they had the £8.99 red I wanted.

I had another look at it and if we takeo out the £7.99 bottle mistake then the discounts should be

    15.23 ( 25% of £60.92)
    12.92 ( 4 lots of 2 for £12.00)
    equals £28.15

but they gave me £26.19 total discount making £1.96 overcharge so DTD £3.92. So they owe me another £3.92.

Ive just been bitten by an ungrateful mouse:eek: brought home by the cat. It was alive and looked unharmed if a little stunned. I picked it up to go and put in a safe place where it could escape and it sunk its teeth into my hand. My hands are freezing as well so it really hurt:eek:
I dropped it and it ran under the shed so now the cat will probably catch it again and it won't be so lucky next time:(

This happened to me a couple of years ago. I was fresh from the pub shall we say, and I ended up in minor injuries the next day because it started to become infected. Make sure you keep an eye on it for redness and heat.

Ps I found out the next day that it wasn't a mouse but a bloody great rat!!!

After it bit me, it got away from me and ran off to die somewhere. It probably got alcohol poisoning from me :rotfl:

She may well be right that she only got charged 55p a bottle but I am right that 80p plus 40p makes it 60p a bottle :p:p:p

    Afternoon all :) x
