    Morning everyone :)

Looks like there are lots of us buying fillers for targeted APG shops, so how about a list of targeted fillers with a foodbank in mind? Some items benefit the APG (eg smart price red kidney beans 27p, but 18p at S or T) and some are cost neutral (smart price baked beans 28p in A, S and T, chicken noodles 11p A, S and T so really cost positive rather than neutral:)) and some may cost a few pence more but be useful to bump up an APG. Items that cost around the same or less as, eg a Freddo or a flump. Or suggestions for more substantial items for those choosing to donate a few pence more per shop? Same for TPP shops?

This isn't about any kind of do-goody crusade (don't want to provoke the anti brigade), more about maxing the benefits of our shopping maybe with a wider audience in mind and making sure any excess hits a good cause rather than landfill. Don't much like the phrase "win-win" but as an example of it, this is right up there.

    Spot the difference. :)

There is one other difference, but on the back of the box. My box with cherry in has BB 17th August, whereas the one I got this morning the BB is 5th December, of anyone is saving them for prezzies.

The one i got yesterday is ES Crisp Collection mainly white box with brown and orange strips on part of right . Also four circles across bottom with different colour sweet wrappers. Barcode is 5055037001518. This worked against S and we don't compare to Waities but I think it is the same one for Waities.

    :rotfl: I didnt notice that!

    Foodbanks in Northern Ireland include:

Newtownards Foodbank operates from the town’s Thriving Life Church with almost 100 volunteers handling over 1,000 tonnes of donated food a month and distributed to, on average, 100 needy people in the surrounding area.

The Storehouse at Belfast City Vineyard in Dunmurry sends out 70 or 80 bags to families in greater Belfast every week — and says it is meeting about half demand.

People in the Lurgan, Moira and surrounding areas are receiving help from The Shed which operates out of St Saviour’s Church in Dollingstown and Magheralin and works together with Christians Against Poverty.
