  • Good Morning Everyone,

My local tesco have ended the 3 for £10 on IAMS. I tried them anyway, but went through at £5.39 each only taking £4.05 off

I did buy the 950g go cat that are 2 for £4 and as predicited, it takes the 25% of origianal cost

    Go cat: £2.89 * 2 = £5.78 - 1.78 - 1.45

    so paid £2.55

Not really any other fab savings (unless you have a fussy cat) so bought 12 felix pouches on price drop at £2.50 - 0.62 = £1.87

    Thanks

Anyone had a trouting before in Tesco over their Price Porkeys - apparently my receipt should match their barcode - now this is news to me but the insisted that I didnt have the correct receipt - rubbish.

I am going to phone hq tomorrow - was told by deputy manager that he would exchange them after a lot of to and frowing as a good will gesture - um told him to forget it - it is not a gesture of goodwill as I am correct and they are wrong, if their system gives me the Porky how is that my fault if it doesnt match my receipt that I put into Their System!! What a arrogant !!!!!! he was too.

Anyone any advice please - would like to be armed before I phone as I tend to get a bit frustrated and then forget things.

    Good morning all

Best advice I can give when complaining is to write down the points you want to get across nice and clearly and have this in front of you when you call.

Tick through the points as you discuss them. That way, it is easy to see which points you have covered.

State your case clearly and ask what they propose to do about the issue.

Know what you want to get out of it, so if they ask "how would you like me to resolve this" you can state clearly what it is that you want.

Don't be rude as that just gets their backs up and makes the call more difficult than it needs to be.

Don't be afraid to ask for the call to be escalated if the person you are talking to doesn't know the PP system or isn't being helpful.

    Be firm :)
  • Morning All.
just been to Tesco all advertising for multibuys in pet food aisle gone over night!
Took three bags of iams to till to see if the offer of three for £10 ish and 25% would kick in even if the shelf advertising wasnt there
( know how sneaky my store manager is. Didnt put out pilgrims choice out when price error, then after finished more pilgrims than you could imagine, and he did same with ogio)
but alas only 25% came off so would of cost £12.12 rather than £10 ish yesterday:eek::eek:.
Might be worth looking out in your store to see if the 3 for £10 ish is still advertised on the shelf edge.
    will make a nice DTD.

Hope i have more luck in Asda with G and B today.
    Happy hunting All:rotfl:
