Looks like a C with an arrow head on the end (on address line, as mentioned).

Thanks David. I was going to give it a go first thing anyway but just wanted to be forearmed in case of problems. Will probably buy 12 mixed expensive ones, double up some CC vouchers and add some other things to take the spend up to £40 and use a £5 off sada voucher. Hopefully won't spend too much real money:)

:TOn another matter, remembering my manners, many thanks to I been robbed for the info on G&B yesterday. Successful shop late afternoon today :)
The coupon does say 'this coupon can be used once per customer', so I suppose they could argue that as it is essentially the same coupon - same barcode etc - you can only use one per transaction. Does anyone know if the self service tills still call for supervisor if you use several coupons? I used SS till today for wine, and supervisor was not called when I used 4x CC vouchers, 1 x £5 from last week and one of the £2 Finest vouchers. Just wondering if there's any chance of buying 6 wines and using 5 x£2 coupons on a SS till?
  • Well!!!! All out of triggers at Norwich again, no Lindt girl or boy, no Liz shaw collection(Only the mint), no G+B of any sort except the big collection not in the 3 fOR £10, no gold bar, no LOB!

Lots of yesterdays trigger vinnie's, lol!

Well done for all who had trigger items and could take advantage!!!!

So .... I am back in the game, G&B Classic plus 2xFF (in for a penny ... I did three shops to extend old APGs ... okay, only a few weeks old but if all goes to plan I should get most of these back ;).

All three have come back as planned (shops around 8pm), so around £10 cash in total spent on three shops plus APGs and WW, 3 vouchers for near £11 back each :).

I thought I was going to cop a trouting as my first shop was using a large APG and WW - CS called over a supervisor and then the cashier to query how it was possible to have an APG that was more than was spent on the receipt. I tried to point out that I had used vouchers/MOCs to pay but she still insisted on checking. All very pleasant - the other cashier said that sometimes there were problems to the system but it was legitimate so to process it. Result! Cue two more shops in quick succession through the same till ;). I may need to be careful on the next shops as three identical APGs with different receipts may draw attention to me (even though I am not doing anything wrong).

And Mrs Anon wasn't even phased with 6 ff and 3 G&Bs added to the stash ...

May try for some wine tomorrow but have a couple of questions. Any answers please:

Anyone had any problems using multiple £2 off coupons? i.e. could SA argue that it is £2 off for a spend of at least £12 and not for each£12 spent?

Can the 2 f £12 be mixed and matched? i.e pairs of different wines at the same starting price?

    Thanks

I mixed white, red and rose. HTH

Anyone had a trouting before in Tesco over their Price Porkeys - apparently my receipt should match their barcode - now this is news to me but the insisted that I didnt have the correct receipt - rubbish.

I am going to phone hq tomorrow - was told by deputy manager that he would exchange them after a lot of to and frowing as a good will gesture - um told him to forget it - it is not a gesture of goodwill as I am correct and they are wrong, if their system gives me the Porky how is that my fault if it doesnt match my receipt that I put into Their System!! What a arrogant !!!!!! he was too.

Anyone any advice please - would like to be armed before I phone as I tend to get a bit frustrated and then forget things.
I got trouted today with a PP for £4 something. The checkout operator called her supervisor and said it was procedure - I was fine with that. The supervisor went off and came back with a third person and said my PP should have the receipt details printed on it. I said they would have to speak to their website people about that. Then they accused me of photocopying it. I had to describe for them step by step how I had got this PP. I have emailed Tesco about this because it's quite humiliating when there is a queue building up behind you, all listening in. They should be trained, especially the supervisors, when their systems change.
