Did ask yesterday, but didn't get a reply. Does anyone know if the wine compares at the price before the 25% discount or after. Thanks

Mean when you compare on the Price promise website

Confirmed on all wines (tesco 25% wine thread) there was a mis informer. See below 25% off original price not 2 for - so finest it is for me;). Didn't have time to check re PP and Asda but will take a punt after hossie and then post results. HTH

"I've been this morning to one of the big Cardiff stores and there were no glitches on what I got, but it def' seems to be on all wines not just selected ones, unless that's different online.
I got the Silver Bay @ 2 for £5. I know it is very light although it's 8% but it's really nice mixed with orange J20 and some slices of orange in it. If you're going to drink quite a bit over Christmas it's a good one to go for as you wont feel wooly headed before you've even sat down to lunch!!

I also got a couple of bottles of finest which were £7.99 for 2 for £12 and various other half price wines @£4.99 bottle. Interestingly they take the 25% discount off the full price of the multi buy ones.

Then I used the £2 coupon from the Food Magazine for the Finest Wines - even though the discount had taken them to below the £10 spend and I had a £5 off £40 voucher from my £20 spend last week.
So grand total for 12 bottles of Silver Bay, 5 bottles of half price assorted reds @£4.99 plus 2 bottles of Tesco Finest Chianti @£7.99 £85.21.
Discount on the Silver Bay £14.28, discount on the finest £3.98 discount for 25% off £21.31. New total £45.64. Minus £2 Food magazine coupon and £5 coupon. Grand total only £38.64.
If I had had multiple bottles of finest I think I could have used multiple £2 coupons and also of course if you traded your clubcard points in for finest wine!!! They'll be giving it to us for free soon."

With thanks to debtdalek for the above info.

Tesco wine 25% off six again, post on the grabbit board says that the discount is again coming off the original price, so Tesco have no 3 for 2 offers however they are showing various £10 bottles half price down to £5. So by my calculations 6 bottles should come to £15!

    6 * 5 = 30
    25% off original price (6* 10 = 60) £15
    Price to pay £15

I know its not as good as last time (£9.00 for 6 bottles of Ogio!)

Ideal for presents or guzzling over xmax lol! Off to Tesco's will confirm prices on return
    :)

Before I forget the free Christmas tree spray arrived on Monday thanks to O.P.,

I asked at T's pharmacy for a goody bag, you would have thought I'd asked for a kidney, after lots of huffing & puffing about only for people buying stuff at the pharmacy she gave me one

Up to my neck in cats & kittens today, have a good one everyone.

Weather report I'm indoors & my hands are cold so it must be cold if I'm cold

    Good morning QPR10

What is in the goody bag please? Our new tesco has a pharmacy so will be popping in there with my next prescription I think :)
